3. Safety Xavier McKinney

Perhaps no loss has been more frustrating for NY Giants then losing Xavier McKinney to an off-field hand injury. The ATV ride from hell is still something that keeps countless NY supporters up at night.

He’s left a gaping hole in the secondary, which has been exploited in basically every game he’s missed. A couple plays that stick out are the Philadelphia Eagles touchdown to DeVonta Smith on fourth down earlier in December, and the third and long Justin Jefferson play from Christmas Eve.

McKinney played a vital role on the team’s defense throughout the beginning of the season, but the unit has struggled without him. If he isn’t healthy by Sunday, hopefully he can get back on the field for a potential playoff run.

As things stand, McKinney has said that he’s hoping to play this weekend. It’d obviously be great to have him back, but Daboll and Co. won’t want to rush him back too soon either. We should find out soon enough if he’ll be able to rock.
