2. Cornerback Adoree Jackson

What made matters worse regarding McKinney’s absence has been the injury suffered by NY Giants cornerback Adoree’ Jackson. In the weeks since Jackson was hurt while attempting to return a punt, he’s been missed sorely. Its indisputable that cornerback is a position of need for Big Blue this offseason, and the former USC star missing time has only made that more obvious.

Ahead of their Week 17 showdown with the Colts, Daboll was veering into positivity while speaking about his cornerback. The Colts have struggled to get star wide receiver Michael Pittman the football, but Jackson returning to the field would make it even more difficult for whoever Jeff Saturday starts at quarterback – though Foles should be the guy.

Regardless, the Giants need Jackson back if they’re to make any noise in the playoffs, and it sounds like he’s on track to return. Getting both him and McKinney back on the field together in Week 17 would be fantastic to see.
