4. Georgia CB Kelee Ringo

The secondary, specifically the cornerback position, will be something the Giants address in a big way this offseason. While Adoree’ Jackson is locked in as the CB1, the second cornerback spot has been a revolving door this season.

Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo could immediately step in and start for this defense. After missing his freshman season with an injury, Ringo showed flashes of potential in Year 2. During the 2021 season, he took the field in 14 total games. He recorded 34 total tackles, one tackle for loss, two sacks, eight defended passes and two interceptions.

According to PFF, Ringo was on the field for 797 total snaps in 2021. He was targeted 59 times on the season, allowing just 24 receptions for 346 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

In 2022, Ringo appeared to have gotten better in every way. The Georgia defense lost nearly every starter to the 2022 NFL Draft. Even in doing so, Ringo proved that he can be a legitimate star at cornerback.

Heading into the CFP, Ringo has played in 13 games this season. He has recorded 36 total tackles, two tackles for loss, six defended passes and two interceptions. While being targeted 64 times, he has allowed 35 receptions for 478 receiving yards and zero touchdowns on the season.

Ringo could prove to be the perfect addition to the Giants secondary. He is a player they should definitely be watching on Saturday.
