3. The NY Giants pass-rush will dominate

As we mentioned before, the offensive line of the Colts has played rather poorly this season, allowing 119 pressures and 24 sacks among their main starting group. When you consider this, combined with how elite the Giants pass-rush has looked recently, this creates the perfect recipe for a dominant game from the defensive front.

While the team lost arguably their best pass rusher in Azeez Ojulari last week against the Vikings, he’ll be good to go for Week 17. In the last four weeks, the Giants pass-rush has racked up 16 sacks and 34 QB hits, looking truly unstoppable regardless of the offensive line. The trio of Dexter Lawrence, Ojulari, and Kayvon Thibodeaux is looking to make for one of the best pass-rushing cores in the entire NFL.

Even outside of these three, players like Leonard Williams, Jaylon Smith, Landon Collins, and just other members of the Giants defense have been stepping up and making plays when they have been called upon to.

With how poor the secondary has performed in recent weeks, the Giants defense has called upon the pass-rush to be the difference maker and for the most part, they have. While we may not be particularly worried about the Colts air game, the pass-rush still needs to give the secondary some much needed support this week.
