1. NY Giants are headed to the playoffs baby

Don’t make any plans for Wild Card Weekend, because the NY Giants are going to be in action. For the first time since the 2016 season, Big Blue indeed will be in the postseason, which is something not a lot of people thought would even be possible ahead of the campaign getting underway.

A lot of people assumed the Giants would finish with maybe 4-5 wins, but they’re now 9-6-1 entering the final week of the year. This really is wild to think about. The Giants have been such a pleasure to watch in 2022 and Daboll/Joe Schoen are the big reason why. They’ve completely turned this franchise around.

Daboll coaches with so much passion, and the addition of Martindale to help lead this defense has proven to be nothing short of sensational. You’ve got to be happy for Daboll too. He has given his all to help out this team in ’22 and now he’s going to the postseason in his first year as head coach. This is such a great moment for him.
