Much has been said about NY Giants pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux over the past few days due to his monster sack of Nick Foles in Week 17. After said sack, Thibodeaux decided to celebrate in style, showcasing some snow angels while down on the turf. Unfortuantely, Foles was injured right next to him and the veteran quarterback had to be carted off the field.

Thibodeaux had no idea Foles was hurt by his side, but that didn’t matter to Colts interim head coach Jeff Saturday. Saturday blasted Thibodeaux for his celebration, calling it trash and tasteless. Thibodeaux was asked about Saturday’s comments and the No. 5 overall pick didn’t seem to care one bit about his thoughts.

NY Giants pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux has no clue who Jeff Saturday is

Not only did Thibodeaux clap back a bit at Saturday, but he has also made a lot of us feel pretty dang old with the fact that he doesn’t know who the Colts all-time great is. Nevertheless, Thibodeaux doesn’t have time to worry about what Saturday has to say about his play on the field. Not one bit.

Instead, Thibodeaux is more focused on getting himself ready for the postseason during his debut campaign in the NFL. With the big-time win over the Colts at MetLife Stadium, the G-Men indeed punched their tickets to the NFC Wild Card Round. The Colts will be watching the playoffs from home, as they’ve recorded a disastrous season.

Thibodeaux added that he hopes Foles is feeling better, but at the same time, the first-year playmaker also knows that he’s paid the big bucks to deliver some big hits on running backs and quarterbacks. Foles got unlucky to get injured in this case, but this isn’t something Thibodeaux is going to lose sleep over.

After a bit of a slow start to his rookie season, Thibodeaux has turned things around and really turned into an electric player for Big Blue this fall. His showing. vs. Washington last month earned him NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for a reason – he was a monster.

More big games are on the way for Thibodeaux, but it’s safe to assume Saturday won’t be cheering him on. At the end of the day, no one cares about that, especially not Thibodeaux.
