NY Giants get good injury news on Adoree’ Jackson and Evan Neal
As has been the case throughout the year for the NY Giants, Brian Daboll enters Sunday with some injury concerns on his mind. Thankfully, though, it’s looking like everything is going to be just fine for the first-year head coach. The two biggest injury worries for this squad right now are Evan Neal and Adoree’ Jackson.
Jackson has missed a large chunk of the season with his knee injury, while plenty of eyebrows were raised when Neal showed up on the injury report this week due to a bum ankle. As things stand, though, all signs are pointing to both of these guys being ready to go for the NFC Wild Card matchup.

NY Giants’ Evan Neal and Adoree’ Jackson should play on Sunday
Starting with Jackson, having him back is going to be massive for this defense. With the Vikings aerial attack being so dangerous, the thought of Jackson and Xavier McKinney BOTH being able to play after missing so much time is going to be great to see. Giants fans everywhere are hoping they can make an impact.
As for Neal, him not being at 100 percent is not ideal for the former No. 7 overall pick. It’s no secret that he’s battled inconsistent play during his rookie campaign. In the Week 18 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Neal looked rough early on. So much in fact, NY supporters were calling for him to get off the field.
What’s so frustrating about his play is that when Neal is at his best, he looks like a total force. When he’s on, it makes life so much easier for not only Daniel Jones, but also left tackle Andrew Thomas, who has taken Neal under his wing.
We can’t wait for Sunday to arrive, but Neal and Jackson feeling better is obviously great news for Daboll. With a trip to the Divisional Round on the line, these two guys will be asked to step up and make plays on both sides of the ball. We know what Jackson and Neal are both capable of. Come Sunday at 4:30 p.m., we fully expect them both to be in action.
UPDATE: The Giants have just released their final injury report and no one is out. Jackson will be good to go.
