3. Daniel Jones puts on a show in Minnesota

The confidence that fans have in Daniel Jones is at an all-time high. With it expected that he’ll sign a contract extension in the near future with Big Blue, Jones has a great opportunity to earn some extra dollars with a strong showing against the Vikings. We think that will end up happening for him.

Jones did not play in the regular season finale vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, but he did play in the final home game the week before in the 38-10 blowout victory against the Indianapolis Colts. Although the Colts may not be a good football team, it doesn’t take away from the dominance that Jones showed in the victory.

The fourth-year quarterback threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 91 yards and two more scores. Midway through the fourth quarter, Jones was removed from the blowout win and he received a standing ovation from the crowd at MetLife Stadium. That was a special moment for him.

With Jones’ confidence off the charts, he has to step up for this team if NY wants a shot at taking down the Vikings. He has shown he can do it in the regular season, but being able to step up and make the big-time plays in the postseason is a completely different animal. Plenty of the focus will be on Jones, but look for him to deliver.
