4. Prevent the Vikings big passing plays

Last time around, the Giants were able to prevent huge passing plays from the dangerous Vikings offense, but they were not able to stop wide receiver Justin Jefferson and tight end T.J. Hockenson. Both players had more than 10 receptions and over 100 yards each, with three touchdowns between the pair. That has to change in the Wild Card game.

In the previous Week 16 meeting, the Giants were without cornerback Adoree’ Jackson and safety Xavier McKinney. Having McKinney and Jackson back will be a massive boost for the NY secondary. When the last injury report came out and no one was on it, fans were over the moon.

The Giants were close to multiple interceptions last time out vs. Minnesota, but this time we are hoping that the secondary can create some magic for Daboll and Co. It’s been an eternity (2012) since the Giants won a postseason game. Luckily this team is at full health and they’re poised to post an upset. Sunday’s tilt can’t come soon enough.
