2. RB Saquon Barkley

Running back Saquon Barkley has long since established himself as one of the NFL’s most explosive playmakers. After two injury-plagued seasons, he returned to form in 2022. And when it mattered most, he came up huge for Brian Daboll and Co.

Barkley was a key factor through both the air and the ground from the first snap of the game. On the ground, Barkley carried the ball just nine times, but recorded 53 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Through the air, he added five receptions for 56 receiving yards on six total targets.

Barkley finished the game recording 109 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on just 14 total touches.

In the first quarter, Barkley scored the Giants first touchdown of the game. It came on a 28-yard run. In the fourth quarter, when the Giants needed a big play, it was Barkley who delivered once again – on a three-yard carry, he scored the game-winning, go-ahead touchdown.

Heading into this season, many questioned just how effective Barkley would be. It’s safe to say that at this point, he has proved any doubters wrong.
