3. Daniel Jones is playing like an MVP right now

We’ve seen Daniel Jones take a huge leap this season with his performances on the field, but he had the best game of his life in his first ever postseason matchup last weekend. The lights were shining bright in Minnesota, and the 25-year-old QB showed up. In the regular season as well, Jones was consistently playing at a high level in big spots.

The dual-threat ability the former Duke star attains is extremely underrated, but the whole world got to see what he can do against the Vikings. The accuracy of his throws, combined with his ability to break out a big run, makes him a serious threat to opposing defenses.

What should really excite Big Blue fans is the way Jones has performed recently. Earlier in the season many saw Jones as a game manager, which was still leading to wins. Lately, though, he’s been the main factor in wins, and it’s coming at the perfect time. Including the Wild Card Round, in his last five games, Jones has 1,405 total yards and nine touchdowns to his name.

Fans are absolutely loving their quarterback right now, and rightfully so. In Minnesota he showed he isn’t afraid of the bright lights, and he actually embraces them. Before the season started, many thought Jones would be playing his last season as a member of the Giants. That’s no longer the case, as he has earned a major payday.

The QB has come a long way in his fourth season, and this Saturday he is playing one of the most anticipated games in Giants history. Let’s see what Danny Dimes has in store for his second career playoff game. In the first one, he flirted with 400 total yards and two touchdowns. We can’t wait to see what he does vs. Philly.
