1. Saquon Barkley is an X-factor for the Giants again

Sometimes a team just needs their stars to take over. Luckily the Giants have a superstar running back in Saquon Barkley, as he is able to break out a big-time run at any moment. The 25-year-old RB has re-emerged as one of the best backs in football this season. This week, the Giants could really use an elite performance from the former No. 2 overall pick. In 2018, the franchise selected this guy to play in games like this upcoming matchup against the rival Eagles.

In the first round against the Vikings he produced. Barkely got into the end zone twice on just nine carries, so he should be fully charged for this weekend’s game. He also tallied up 56 receiving yards against Minnesota, and Daboll would certainly love to see that happen again.

The Giants are better when Saquon is playing like fans expect him to play. The former Penn State Nittany Lion rushed for over 85 yards in five games this season, and the Giants were 5-0 in those games. Every great team usually has at least one guy that they can trust to produce. Barkley is that guy for the Giants. If Barkley plays at the elite level he’s shown fans, then it would drastically increase New York’s chances of shocking the world, just like they did 2008 and 2012.
