1. Daniel Jones will continue to show why he is the QB of the future

It has been a truly amazing season to see out of Daniel Jones, who after three rough years, finally put it all together and emerged as the clear choice at QB for the Giants entering next season and beyond. This was cemented after Jones’s performance against the Vikings, where he showed that he can dominate under the brightest of lights. In this game, he completed 24 of his 35 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns, while also running the ball 17 times for 78 yards.

A game like this likely sealed Jones’ status as the Giants’ franchise quarterback, as his solid play in the regular season already made it likely that he would be brought back, and his game against Minnesota was just icing on the cake.

However, Jones must put it all together against Philadelphia this week and continue his dominant postseason run to bring the Giants closer to a potential Super Bowl appearance. Jones doesn’t even necessarily need to dominate, he just needs to keep playing mistake-free football and make the big-time plays when they come to him.

Regardless, we know Jones has what it takes to lead the Giants to victory, a lot of this will come down to if the offensive line and receiving core can continue to be as consistent as they have been.  If all of these pieces come together, it will create a recipe for success and the Giants will have their best chance to move on to the NFC Championship Game, where they will face off against either the Cowboys or 49ers.
