1. It’s exactly what Daniel Jones needs

It is still unknown if Daniel Jones will be the Giants QB1 heading into next season, but it’s expected he’ll agree to a long-term deal with the team. With this, the Giants really need to invest and bring in a receiver such as Higgins. It would give Jones a legitimate go-to target, which is something that he has never had.

When looking at all of the top offenses in the NFL, the quarterback has a reliable target. Jalen Hurts has A.J. Brown, Patrick Mahomes has Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow has Chase, and the list goes on. For each of these scenarios, the quarterback’s play has improved drastically with these speedsters.

If the Giants are looking to capitalize on the core that they have assembled, they must give the offense all of the firepower that they can. Jones has often shown that he can push the ball down the field. This is an area that Higgins has excelled.

An offense consisting of Jones, Higgins, and Saquon Barkley would immediately give problems to any opposing defense. Depending on if the Giants can create a trade package that can get the job done, a trade makes sense and a lot of fans would love to see it happen. Make the call, Mr. Schoen.
