1. Sammy Watkins

Sammy Watkins seems to be the guy NFL teams bring in to add depth and possibly catch some touchdowns for them in a pinch. However, the juice is no longer worth the squeeze, and the Giants should recognize that.

Watkins hasn’t amassed more than 450 receiving yards over the last three seasons, and he’s been a part of some pretty potent offenses. The former Clemson star has had Mahomes, Lamar Jackson and Rodgers as his quarterbacks, only to catch three touchdowns over the last three seasons combined.

The Giants may be desperate for receiving help, but they can’t be this desperate. Watkins still isn’t even 30 years old, but his best days are long behind him at the moment. Once upon a time, it looked like he could dominate the league for years to come.

A big-bodied speedster, Watkins had all the potential in the world. He’s had a fascinating NFL career, but it’d be malpractice to bring him to New York. Let some other team take another shot Watkins. He isn’t worth it for the G-Men.
