4. LB Germaine Pratt

While it seemed as if Germaine Pratt might possibly return to the Cincinatti Bengals, what he said following their AFC Championship loss makes it seem like there is a very high chance that he will hit free agency and sign elsewhere this offseason.

The slight outburst he had following the game may throw fans off due to a potential lack of leadership, but he has since apologized numerous times and has never had a problem like this in the past. It is more likely just a burst of passion than anything else, so more likely than not it’s nothing to worry about.

Regardless, Pratt is a heck of a player who would fit just about perfectly with the NY Giants, especially with his ability in coverage, something New York desperately needs. In 15 games with Cincinatti last season, Pratt racked up 96 tackles and a forced fumble, while allowing 29 receptions on 42 targets for 282 yards and zero touchdowns, snagging two interceptions in the process.

Pratt is the exact kind of player this Giants team needs. Not only does he make limited amounts of mistakes in the run game, but his exceptional play in coverage would be a complete game-changer. According to PFF, Pratt is expected to receive a contract in which he will receive around $8.25 million a season, which is quite the steal for a player of his caliber.
