3. LB Denzel Perryman

Considering that Denzel Perryman is expected to make $4 million a season on his next contract, the Giants should hop on that train as soon as possible. Perryman may not have been as great as he was in 2021 this season, but he was still incredibly solid and would for sure be an upgrade over what the Giants currently have at linebacker.

Perryman isn’t as good in coverage as a player like Pratt, but he is still great against the run, which is still something the Giants are missing. In 12 games for the Raiders last year, Perryman racked up 81 tackles and two interceptions, while allowing 20 catches on 28 targets for 182 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite seemingly taking a step back from his Pro Bowl season in 2021, he actually graded out better in 2022 according to PFF. This could be because he played in less games, however, he was definitely still a very solid player for a disappointing Raiders defense. Schoen should definitely reach out to him and his reps soon.
