1. Find a WR1

The Giants must give their 2023 QB an improved group of pass-catchers. Isaiah Hodgins, Collin Johnson, and Wan’Dale Robinson are the three Giants wide receivers under contract for next season, but none of them are a WR1, and in an ideal world, none of them are a WR2.

Since the Giants traded Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland way back in 2019, they have been in search of a star receiver. This offseason, they have a chance to find one. Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins, and DeAndre Hopkins are three star wide receivers who could come available in the trade market, and all would be ideal fits on the Giants.

The Giants could look to draft their WR1 in round 1, something the Jets did last year when they took Garrett Wilson and the Bengals did in 2021 when the took Ja’Marr Chase. Quentin Johnston, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Jordan Addison all have WR1 potential, and could be available when the Giants come on the clock. Schoen must add one of these six players this offseason, to finally give the Giants offense a scary receiving threat.
