1. Boston College WR Zay Flowers

All Zay Flowers has done since the draft cycle has started is prove time and time again that not only does he want to be great, but he very likely will be great. Not only did he silence one of the biggest doubts surrounding his strength by adding 10+ pounds of muscle, but he also put on a show at the Combine.

At the Combine, Flowers ran a 4.42 40-yard dash, displayed a 35.5-inch vertical, and had a 10’7 broad jump. Last season at Boston College, Flowers caught 78 passes for 1,077 yards and 12 touchdowns, while also showing that he can play in both the slot and out wide despite his 5-9 frame.

Unlike Smith-Njigba, Flowers is incredibly dynamic in the open field, and would bring a ton to a Giants offense that really doesn’t have a great open field runner other than Wan’Dale Robinson. No matter where he plays, we just know Flowers is going to make a massive difference for an offense. Could he end up in East Rutherford? We’ll find out in late April.
