For the second time in the past six months, Jerry Jeudy trade rumors have been flying all over the place and the NY Giants have been linked to the former first-round pick. After acquiring tight end Darren Waller from the Las Vegas Raiders, you know general manager Joe Schoen isn’t done making moves to improve this offense.

However, Schoen also isn’t going to overpay to bring in someone for Daniel Jones. This will 100 percent be the case for someone like Jeudy, as The Athletic’s Jeff Howe is reporting that Denver wants ‘at least’ a first-round pick in return for him. Yeah, no chance in hell that’s going to happen.

The Denver Broncos are looking for a first-round pick in exchange for Jerry Jeudy

As bad as Schoen and the Giants are looking for a WR1 for offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and Jones, a first-round pick will not be going to the Broncos for Jeudy – at least not from Big Blue. With NY holding the No. 25 overall pick, Schoen could have several top WR options available to him in the NFL Draft when he’s on the clock.

Denver can’t be serious if they think someone would actually send them a first-rounder for Jeudy, especially with the speedster coming off a bit of a disappointing year working with Russell Wilson. From our chair, we think a second-round pick for Jeudy would be more than enough.

The Denver front office seems to disagree quite a bit with that idea. As good as Jeudy can be with the ball in his hands, GMs aren’t going to give in to any absurd demands from the Denver front office to land his services.

If the Broncos really want to trade either Jeudy or Courtland Sutton, then they need to be more realistic in what they expect to get back in return. Otherwise, Schoen and other teams will look elsewhere in their search for a standout wide receiver.
