The opening night of the 2023 NFL Draft is almost here and NY Giants fans can’t wait to see who general manager Joe Schoen will go with in the first round. However, there’s going to be a lot of pressure on the young GM over the entire draft weekend.

This team needs to improve on both sides of the ball, with the offensive line, linebacker, wide receiver, cornerback and more being positions of focus. With that said, the first round indeed will be here before you know it and Big Blue supporters can’t wait.

The NY Giants will select No. 25 overall in the first round

Leading up to things, here’s the official schedule for draft weekend:

• First round: Thursday, April 27 starting at 8 p.m. ET
• Second and third rounds: Friday April 28 starting at 7 p.m. ET
• Fourth-seventh rounds: Saturday, April 29 starting at 12 p.m. ET

Schoen arrived to East Rutherford last winter and he made a huge splash in his first NFL Draft with the team. With the Giants holding two first-round picks, they brought in star Oregon pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, plus right tackle Evan Neal out of Alabama. Both rookies made a strong impact for this team in 2023.

Now, everyone will be waiting to see who the Giants will take late in the first round. The G-Men have been linked to several wideouts. The list includes Quentin Johnston, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jordan Addison and more.

Come Thursday, April 27, we’ll find out exactly who Schoen decides to go with. Then the rest of the weekend, even more stud players will be hearing their names called by the Giants.
