Just a week ago, things were looking great for the NY Giants after they were able to take down the Seattle Seahawks on the road. Taking on a 1-4 Bengals team, the G-Men had a golden chance to improve to 3-3 and start feeling good about a run for the postseason.

Instead, this team shot itself in the foot in a disheartening 17-7 loss to the Bengals. Just like the primetime game against the Cowboys, the G-Men had a terrific opportunity to come out on top. Instead, they didn't execute and they're now 2-4 on the year. These four fellas had nights to forget:

4. K Greg Joseph

In a close defensive battle, every single point means everything. You don't have to bring up special teams blunders to Giants fans, as they're quite familiar with how a game can be impacted there. On Sunday, the STs group once again let down Brian Daboll, this time Greg Joseph being the one who's being looked at.

Early on in the fourth quarter, the Giants were driving, down 10-7, but their drive stalled. Joseph lined up for a 47-yard field goal. The snap was good, the hold was perfect, but what about the kick? Not so much. Unfortunately, Joseph's try sailed wide and the G-Men couldn't even things up.

Had Joseph been on the roster in Week 2, there's no question the Giants would have won that game at Washington. Matter of fact, any backup kicker who could have stepped in for Graham Gano would have been able to put the G-Men over the line. This time around, though, Joseph's number was called in a pressure situation and he couldn't deliver. Then, with under a minute to go, he missed a 45-yarder too to turn off the lights. Can't happen.
