3. Shane Bowen

With how well the defense can look, it's tough to put a lot of blame on defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. However, there are also times where it feels like he's taking a nap with some of his decisions. This happened again vs. the Eagles in the first half, with the Giants looking to prevent the Eagles from converting on 4th down.

On this particular play, Jalen Hurts dropped back, faced pressure and got the ball off at the last second for a perfect deep ball to A.J. Brown. Not only did the Eagles convert, but Brown blew by Nick McCloud for a long touchdown. So, you leave McCloud on Brown for 1-on-1 coverage here? Give us a break:

On which planet does this make any sense? You're putting McCloud all alone out there against Brown, the Eagles' best wideout? Goodness. Last week, Bowen let Burrow run free for a long TD run in the loss and he called himself out for that terrible decision. Look for him to put himself on blast once again for this Brown score.
