Dexter Lawrence’s postgame reaction summed up the Giants season perfectly

It was another brutal Sunday for the New York Giants team -- fan and organization as a whole. In the latest edition of this disastrous season, the G-Men lost 16-13 to the Minnesota Vikings in a game where Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson was held under 100 yards, and backup quarterback Max Brosmer was under center for the majority of the second half.

Big Blue invents new ways to lose and rip their fans' hearts out in the process. The sad thing is, this year isn't the only instance. The Giants have been doing things like this for the better part of a decade. Really, it can all be summed up in a word, and the big man himself, Dexter 'Sexy Dexy' Lawrence, said it perfectly.

Frustration. That's really all it is, and this game is no different. With Big Blue out of the playoffs (again), this season has come down to one thing: the development of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, and we can't even get that.

The 22-year-old is one of the only reasons fans still watch, and he didn't even throw a pass until the final minutes of the first half. The guy you traded back into the first round to get only threw 13 passes in an NFL game in 2025. What are we doing here?

NY could pull the most Giants move ever this week against the Raiders

Brian Burns, who could be in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation if Browns superstar Myles Garret didn't go superhuman this year, got the sack fumble, leading to a scoop and score before the half to make it 13-10 Minnesota.

NY came out for the second half and threw up a total stinker, only managing three points. Firing Brian Daboll was the right move, and interim head coach Mike Kafka was supposed to be, at the very least, a breath of fresh air. Yet, somehow, it seems this whole team has regressed even further.

Now, with their penultimate game right around the corner, the Giants take on another juggernaut, the 2-13 Las Vegas Raiders. The loser of this game will likely get the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. If that happens to be the Giants, they could get a massive haul for the pick from a quarterback-desperate team and really start to fill the many holes the roster has. So, in a year of losing, all we're asking for is one more.

But, this is the G-Men we're talking about, so don't be surprised if they mess around and win this game.
