Fresh off their third straight losing campaign, things may get worse for the New York Giants before they get better. The club's list of 2026 opponents is officially set following the conclusion of the 2025 18-week calendar, and it's not great, to put it mildly.

The football gods ostensibly aren't sparing the Giants after somehow drawing the NFL's toughest schedule (based on opponent winning percentage from the previous season) this year. They're slated to take the road less traveled yet again, which understandably has the fan base bracing for the worst.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the Giants' fixtures for next season.

Giants' 2026 opponents revealed, and it's already looking like another lost season

New York has a gauntlet of away games and several difficult home bouts. Of course, it starts with two matchups each against their NFC East opponents, the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders. Yet, that's only the tip of the iceberg for the Giants:

Home: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints

Away: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions

It's bad enough that Philadelphia's an annual contender. Dallas and Washington figure to be back in the mix with better health and presumed defensive upgrades, too. On top of that, the Giants will face five non-divisional squads that made the playoffs this year: the 49ers, Jaguars, Seahawks, Texans and Rams.

There's a real possibility that one of San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston or Jacksonville gets crowned Super Bowl LX champion. They finished 12-5 or better this season and have the pieces in place to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Moreover, and more notably for the G-Men, these squads are built to carry this momentum beyond 2025.

Meanwhile, that doesn't include postseason hopefuls like the Lions and Colts. Both missed the cut in 2025 but have the personnel to improve quickly and bounce back. Boasting two of the league's premier offenses, neither are inviting meetings for the G-Men.

Honestly, how many wins do you see? The Giants may be tethered to the bottom of the standings once more.
