The New York Giants have their head coach, and they got the best one on the market this offseason. John Harbaugh is coming to the Big Apple to help lead a young and promising Giants squad that quarterback Jaxson Dart headlines.

Dart was not only an appealing quarterback for Harbaugh or whoever took this job, but he also knew how to sell the situation. In fact, the word on the street is that Dart played a massive part in getting Harbaugh to come to the Giants. The Giant Insider Podcast posted on X:

"Not only is Jaxson Dart a good quarterback, he's a great salesman. Harbaugh came away so impressed with the young QB after meeting him Wednesday. Dart was huge in the decision making."

Jaxson Dart reportedly played a major role in John Harbaugh choosing Giants

The Giants, after previously selecting in the top five of the 2025 NFL Draft, traded back into the first round to choose Dart, and the move has looked smart. Not only did Dart show real grit as the team's starting quarterback, buthe nowe appears to have played a significant role in the franchise being at the top of Harbaugh's list.

It's not hard to see why Harbaugh would be attracted to the Giants' vacancy. Dart is one big reason, as he played well as a rookie and the Giants have the offensive pieces around him for this team to be competitive moving forward.

Half the battle for a head coach is finding a quarterback, and he was clearly impressed with the Giants' signal-caller.

This is just one of the many reasons why Giants fans should feel great about the state of the franchise. Dart not only has been a baller on the field but clearly, he's one off the field as well. Helping the Giants lock down Harbaugh is proof of this and now, the Giants have both their franchise quarterback and proven head coach to help lead the charge in 2026.

The future is looking bright.
