The New York Giants are just two games away from wrapping up their dreadful 2024 season, which has seen them set a new franchise record for the most consecutive losses with 10.
New York is coming off yet another horrible loss last week, falling to the Atlanta Falcons 34-7 in a game riddled with mistakes and miscues on both sides of the ball. With nothing but pride left to play for, Big Blue is set to host the Indianapolis Colts in their home finale, with potentially infamous history on the line.
Entering this Week 17 matchup, the Giants are 0-8 at home in 2024. With another home loss likely on Sunday, they would become the first team in NFL history to go 0-9 at home in a single season. That’s certainly not the kind of history this G-MEN squad wants to make in their 100th season as an NFL franchise.
If you loyal Giants fans aren’t planning to make the trip out to MetLife Stadium for the final home game of 2024, here’s how you can catch the action with or without cable.
How to watch NY Giants vs Colts on TV
This game will be broadcast on Fox, with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m. EST. If you’re in the New York area, the game can be seen on Fox 5 New York, channel 5. With another 1:00 p.m. kickoff, this will mark the tenth time this season Big Blue has played at that time.
How to stream NY Giants vs Colts in Week 17
If you don’t have cable, the game can also be streamed on NFL+, the Fox Sports app, YouTube TV, and FuboTV (all require subscriptions).
The Giants are once again heavy underdogs in this latest matchup
To no one’s surprise, the Giants are underdogs for the 16th time this season. The Colts are eight-point favorites against New York. As already mentioned, the Giants are coming off a blowout loss in Atlanta. Despite his horrendous performance last week, Drew Lock will make his second straight start this Sunday.
As for Indianapolis, they’re coming off a 38-30 win over their division rivals, the Tennessee Titans. At 7-8, the Colts are looking to hold onto their slim playoff hopes.
After the Colts' 30-plus-point performance last week, it could be another long day for the Giants’ defense. Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns against the Titans. Big Blue’s run defense has been abysmal all season—particularly over the last two weeks. The Falcons rushed for 127 yards last week, and back in Week 15, the Ravens gashed them for 170 yards on the ground.
Another long day may be brewing for this New York defense. Will the Giants finally pick up a home victory, or will they become the first team in NFL history to go a woeful 0-9 at home in a season?
