The New York Giants figure to have at least three running backs make the 53-man roster once cut day arrives. Tyrone Tracy Jr. will be No. 1, while veteran Devin Singletary and rookie Cam Skattebo battle for the backup spot. And while it's not uncommon for teams to carry four RBs, there just has to be a need to do so. Enter Dante "Turbo" Miller.
The G-Men headed a few hours north up to Orchard Park to take on the Buffalo Bills in their first preseason game of the season. All eyes were on Jaxson Dart, who played a very good game, but if you blinked, you might have missed one of the most electric players on the field.

Miller was everywhere in the 34-25 victory. He ran through the tackles, played well in the receiving game, and even played kick returner on special teams. His efforts couldn't go unnoticed if they tried, and he might just already be putting pressure on the coaching staff to keep him along for the 2025 ride.
Turbo Miller might've just made Giants' RB room a little more snug
Nicknamed Turbo for his exceptional speed and explosive playmaking ability, Miller put the moniker to the test early and often in Buffalo. His first action in 2025 was truly something. He ended the day with 10 rushes for 22 yards and 7 receptions for 80 receiving yards.
It seemed like every time Big Blue needed to get out of a sticky situation, the ball was finding No. 25. Look no further than his third-and-nine 18-yard screen pass that got Dart out of an early jam. The offense went on to march down the field and score a touchdown shortly after.
But Miller wasn't done picking up first downs on third-and-long. Not even close. In the second half, with Jameis Winston under center, on a third-and-eight, offensive coordinator Mike Kafka turned to the 26-year-old once more, who took a short pass for a 10-yard first down. By all accounts, the 2024 undrafted free agent had himself a monster day.
But don't just take my word for it, either. Like always, social media had its moment and who am I to tell them how to react:
We'll start off with a very reasonable crowd-sourced assessment of the two-year player:
Dante Miller looks incredible so far

Assuming this means the 26-year-old is on fire. Fire department on standby...
Dante miller 🔥

Or maybe they were insinuating he actually comes from H-E-double hockey sticks, because apparently he's not human:
dante miller is a demon holy

No, it's not.
It’s a national tragedy that Dante Miller isn’t a Dolphin

Aaaand we've finally reached the point where chaos has taken full control of the wheel:
Dante Miller is the greatest running back ever

Who knows if Miller will make the roster when it’s all said and done. All he can do is keep putting together an impressive offseason. If Saturday’s game against the Bills was any indication, he might just force the Giants’ hand.
