It's been a very long time since there's been this much excitement surrounding the New York Football Giants.

The hiring of John Harbaugh has the chance to be a franchise-altering move for a Giants team that has cycled through four different head coaches since Tom Coughlin left, as well as just two playoff appearances and the second-worst record in the NFL during that stretch.

With Harbaugh now in the building, things finally seem to be trending upwards for New York. A promising young quarterback in Jaxson Dart with talented offensive pieces around him, a potentially top defensive pass rush, and the fifth pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, the times may be a-changing for Big Blue.

But just like every team in the NFL, a relationship between a quarterback and his head coach is the most important thing to have, which makes this blunt statement about this new Harbaugh-Dart duo exciting.

This one sentence to describe the Harbaugh/Dart duo will fire up Giants fans

In an article for Bleacher Report, Brad Gagnon wrote one blunt sentence to describe the upcoming duo of Dart and Harbaugh, and let's just say, it was blunt and to the point:

"They are hitching their wagon to John Harbaugh and Jaxson Dart, which brings a lot of hope and excitement to a team with lots of young talent elsewhere and the fifth overall pick," Gagnon wrote.

Harbaugh has coached two quarterbacks in Baltimore who have turned out pretty well in the NFL. He won a Super Bowl with Joe Flacco back in 2013 and had Lamar Jackson win two league MVPs with him as the leading man in charge. Now, enterJaxson Dart.

Dart pretty much has all the tools to be a successful quarterback in the NFL. He has a great arm, mobility, can evade pressure in the pocket, and can read defenses very well. This seems like a perfect match for Harbaugh, especially since Dart will be entering just his second year at the professional level and will have a head coach who's been around for a long time and knows how to win.

This is the exact head coach-quarterback pairing the Giants needed after letting go of Brian Daboll midseason. Now that it is fully in fruition, we can't help but wait and see how this duo will pan out.
