Loss. Loss. Loss. Loss. Loss. Loss. Loss. Loss. And another... loss. That's how many Ls the New York Giants have taken in a row, with their latest Week 15 defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings.

The final 16-13 scoreboard was ugly, but the eye test was even uglier. The G-Men put up 13 total points, with only six coming on offense in Sunday's stinker. They also finished the game with 141 yards of offense, including a whopping 13 net passing yards. So not only are they losing, but they're losing in the most miserable ways possible.

It's now nine losses in a row for a team that sits 2-13, with two meaningless games left to play. Big Blue is one more defeat away from tying its all-time losing streak record that was set -- checks notes -- last year. That's right, it was just last year that they were also sitting at 2-13, crushing fans' dreams.

That's a lot of losing.

However, rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart might be the one paying the steepest price for all of this. In the worst game of his young career, he finished the game 7-of-13 for 33 yards and an interception, and if his postgame press conference is any indication of how broken his spirit is, I don't know what is.

Giants' organizational ineptitude is breaking Jaxson Dart, one week at a time

Watch the clip here for the body language. He looks like the most dejected person on planet earth, and his tone, attitude, and demeanor all but confirm it.

When asked about how all of the losing is affecting his morale and wanting to change the narrative that losing has become the norm, the 22-year-old was so defeated that he couldn't even try to hide behind the disappointment:

"It's a new experience I've never been through before. ... You just try to do your best to stay positive as much as you can."

Needless to say, positivity is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, and it's not exactly thriving. This is the nightmare scenario for the G-Men. They’re making it impossible for their franchise quarterback to stay confident.

The former Ole Miss star is now 2-7 as the starter. He hasn't been put in a position to succeed, and that's on the organization as a whole. It's clear Dart has it. He can be the guy to drag them out of this bottomless pit of misery, but only if they let him.

The Giants are only making it harder on themselves by breaking Dart's spirit by doing nothing to help him. It's time for an overdue top-to-bottom reset, with their rookie QB being top of mind in every decision moving forward. They'll keep going nowhere by ignoring the early signs of a guy who's clearly already getting frustrated with the deep-rooted loser mentality the franchise perpetually peddles.

Dart's postgame presser was the first real sign that, with all the on-field losing, they're also losing their promising QB -- and that needs to change yesterday.
