If you haven’t seen it already, you’re in for a treat. The Giants’ X account dropped a fresh sideline angle of Wan’Dale Robinson’s jaw-dropping training camp grab on Thursday- and it makes the play look even more ridiculous than it did originally.

The third-year wideout reached back with one hand, fully extended, and flew through the air to somehow haul in a contested pass in the back of the end zone — all while keeping his balance through contact. That is absurd body control, even for a pure circus catch.
The clip sent Giants Twitter into a frenzy, and even some teammates on the sideline couldn’t help but react in awe mid-rep.
Russell Wilson is known to have one of the prettiest deep balls in football, dropping this one in the bucket with perfect touch. This was a straight-up dime, and Robinson had no regard for his ex-Kentucky teammate and the player covering him, second-year corner Andru Phillips.
Phillips was in tight coverage, didn’t bite on the route, and stayed stride for stride. He did everything right and still got mossed. It was a sensational throw, but an even better catch.
The 2022 second-rounder is entering his contract year with sky-high expectations. He totaled 93 receptions and 699 yards in 2024, both career-highs. He was also targeted 140 times last season, so his role in Brian Daboll’s offense is rapidly increasing.
Wan’Dale Robinson could be exactly what the doctor ordered
What’s maybe most exciting for Giants fans: his connection with Russell Wilson looks real. It didn’t feel like a duo suiting up in their first training camp together, but he’s not the only player building rapport with the 36-year-old Super Bowl champion.
Wilson threw three touchdowns to Nabers in his opening day of training camp and his connections with Robinson and Hyatt have continued to blossom.
The LSU shattered rookie records last season, and is poised to build on that performance without Daniel Jones under center.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old looks like an effective complement as a guy who was utilized as a chain-mover, but clearly possesses vertical juice stronger than many defenders expect. Add in the tantalizing speed of Biletnikoff winner Jalin Hyatt, and Wilson has a lot of toys at his disposal.
After years of stagnation following the trade of Odell Beckham Jr, suddenly the Giants’ receiving corps looks reborn. And if early camp is any indication, Robinson and this offense might have more juice than anyone expected– and could give NFC East defenses a fit.
