Most of the attention surrounding the New York Giants' offseason has been centered around the head coaching search, but the 2026 NFL Draft will also provide its fair share of drama. The draft isn't for a few months, but it's never too early to speculate about what direction the Giants could go.

The Giants possess the No. 5 pick in the upcoming draft, where the primary debate for Big Blue has been surrounding which receiver would best complement Malik Nabers for Jaxson Dart. However, the noise didn't stop FanSided's Cody Williams from mocking Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson to New York.

"The Giants being able to go forward with an offense of Tyson — a versatile weapon with prototypical size — with Malik Nabers, Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo would create a dynamic group that can grow together, and now do so with a new coach."

Something worth noting is that Williams made the decision between Tyson and Carnell Tate easy, since only one of them was still available. He slotted in Tate to the Tennessee Titans one pick earlier, but Giants fans aren't complaining about the mini Arizona State reunion they'd have on their hands.

The 21-year-old is believed to be the best receiver in this draft class, but Tate is believed to be the safer prospect because of some medical red flags for Tyson. Despite that, no reasonable fan is questioning his talent and upside, which is why he's still a consensus top 10 pick in this draft.

Despite missing three games in November due to a nagging hamstring injury, he still caught 61 passes for 711 yards and eight scores this season. While it wasn't in line with his 2024 production, it was still a highly productive campaign that saw Tyson be named a First Team All-Big 12 honoree.

The Arizona State transfer joined the program from Colorado before the 2024 season, which saw him join forces with current Giants' running back Cam Skattebo. The pair helped to ignite the Sun Devil offense, as ASU won the Big 12 and made the College Football Playoff in Kenny Dillingham's first season at the helm.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Tyson boasts elite size for an X receiver at the next level, but he is also a solid route runner. Between the two top receivers, he is the better big play threat, so imagine an offense with Nabers, Dart, and Skattebo adding even more juice by drafting another Sun Devil star.

Regardless of which top WR is the pick, Dart won't be complaining.
