It’s not every day a human being can make Brandon Jacobs look like he needs a booster seat. This is the same guy who used to put Pro Bowl linebackers through the Earth. The same dude who ran like a freight train and tackled like one, too. But in one photo — one single, glorious graduation night photo — none of that matters.
Standing next to his son Brayden, Jacobs looks... dare we say it (don't say it)... compact. The two posed for a family picture and ended up breaking the internet. Jacobs is smiling. Brayden is beaming. And New York Giants fans everywhere are doing double takes — maybe triple takes — trying to figure out how the guy who once bulldozed the New England Patriots now looks like someone Brayden should be carpooling to school.
Brayden makes his dad look like an everyday, normal person — and that’s absolutely insane. Just take a look at the picture below with his son Brayden:
For reference, Brandon Jacobs is 6-foot-4, 260 pounds... 6-foot-4... 260 pounds. Let that sink in.
Brayden Jacobs already looks like a first-round pick… and he hasn’t played a college snap yet
Listed at 6-foot-7, 320 pounds, Brayden is committed to Clemson and ranked as one of the top offensive tackles in the entire 2025 class. He’s a four-star recruit, the 178th overall player in the nation per 247Sports, and he moves like someone half his size. Scouts love his nastiness, coaches rave about his athleticism, and he’s already gotten reps with Clemson’s starters during spring practice. No big deal.
And while all of that's super awesome, none of that was what turned heads this week. All it took was a proud dad and a graduation gown.
Brandon Jacobs was a mountain of a man in his playing days. He won two rings, led the Giants in career rushing touchdowns, and made a generation of NFC East defenders question their contracts. But Brayden? He might be a new prototype. The kind of player who makes linemen look undersized and power backs look mortal. That’s not a knock on Brandon. That’s just what happens when evolution gets bored and starts adding height to horsepower.
So hats off to Brayden — literally and figuratively. Graduation season just gave Giants fans the photo of the year.
