When you find a franchise quarterback in the NFL, you do absolutely everything in your power to support him. It may be too early to declare Jaxson Dart the future of the New York Giants, but don't be surprised if Joe Schoen and John Harbaugh spend the offseason building around him.
There are multiple holes to fill on this offense, so New York will have to ace its early draft picks to accelerate its rebuild.
FanSided's latest mock draft has the Giants coming away with two key building blocks on offense, setting Dart up for years of success.
Giants complete offensive overhaul in latest 2026 mock draft
The Giants have the major pieces in place for a successful offense. The quarterback, left tackle, and receiver could all be long-term stars. If you squint enough to blur out the guy calling plays, you start to feel good about the direction of the unit. But outside of the top players, this offense is lacking quality.
FanSided's Cody Williams wasted no time solving that issue in his mock draft, taking offensive players in each of the first two rounds for New York. First, he had Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate coming off the board with the fifth pick. The big-bodied receiver is the top pass catcher in the draft for many scouts. Williams said, "Tate and Nabers could elevate this offense in a manner not dissimilar to the Bengals with Chase and Higgins."
Not much else should need to be said to sell Giants fans on that selection.
The next pick is a little more dicey, but it could end up being a steal if it works out. Williams paired Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller with the G-Men in the second round. If Jermaine Eluemenor doesn't come back, the young prospect could be an immediate starter at right tackle. His tape shows flashes of dominant play, but he makes mistakes far too often to be considered a guaranteed hit. Still, Miller has all of the athleticism to become a long-term starter opposite Andrew Thomas.
Imagine a Giants offense with a healthy backfield, a solid offensive line, and two dominant receivers with complementary skill sets. With that group and a defense living up to its full potential, this team could finally become relevant in the NFC again. This draft haul may be exactly what Dart needs to take the next step in his NFL career.
