Kayvon Thibodeaux's postgame outburst on Tush Push controversy is comedy gold

We're all sick of it.

Literally everything went wrong for the New York Giants on Sunday.

The Giants fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 38-20 on the road, making it the third straight season they've started a season 2-6. New York just didn't have any answers for the Eagles' offense, allowing a whopping 277 rushing yards, including a 65-yard touchdown run from Saquon Barkley on the second play of the game.

However, perhaps the main takeaway from this game was the questionable officiating, which seemed to clearly favor Philly. But nothing was worse than Kayvon Thibodeaux's controversial moment during the early stages of the game, which had him going full-NSFW send after the game.

Kayvon Thibodeaux didn't hold back after questionable Tush Push call

The Tush Push was back in the mix for Philly's offense, and the Eagles were facing a fourth down and one inside New York's 10-yard line with the game tied at seven in the second quarter.

When they lined up to run the play, quarterback Jalen Hurts appeared to reach the ball across the line to gain, then seemingly fumbled — a ball that was clearly recovered by Kayvon Thibodeaux. However, the play was ruled dead, the Eagles were awarded a first down, and they scored a touchdown two plays later to take the lead and never give it back.

In what was certainly a call that will be talked about for quite some time, Thibodeaux didn’t hold back when asked about the moment after the game:

"Sounds like some bull**** to me."

His teammate, Brian Burns, who was right next to him, cautioned the 24-year-old, saying, "You'll get fined." Thibodeaux (jokingly) retracted his previous comments, saying, "Sorry, that was a great call."

That's hilarious. Talk about comedic timing. Thibs' response to Burns was perfect. That's some next-level sarcasm. There was absolutely nothing great about Sunday's officiating.

We all know what Thibodeaux was trying to say, and we agree with every word. Hurts was nowhere close to being down when the ball came out, and that should’ve been the Giants’ ball with the game still deadlocked at seven. Instead, the Eagles were given a break.

While this game was filled with several questionable officiating calls that didn’t go the Giants’ way, this one stood out the most and will be talked about for a long time. If there’s any silver lining, it’s that the Tush Push may now be one step closer to being banned.
