New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers seemingly has no issue with the decision the LSU Tigers football program made on Monday morning. The program parted ways with head coach Brian Kelly after the Tigers got blasted by Texas A&M in their own stadium and Nabers, who played at LSU from 2021 to 2023, reacted to the news on his Instagram story.

Nabers posted a reel of someone kicking rocks and if that doesn't get his message across on the matter without straight up saying how he feels, I'm not sure what does. It's worth noting that Nabers has since deleted the story but the internet never lets those things go unnoticed or undocumented.

Malik Nabers couldn’t hide his feelings about Brian Kelly’s firing

Kelly left Notre Dame to become LSU's head coach in 2022, which was Nabers' sophomore season. Ed Orgeron had been LSU's head coach during Nabers' freshman season but was fired after an underwhelming start to the 2021 season.

The Tigers went 10-4 in Kelly's first year and won the Citrus Bowl. The next year, which ended up being Nabers' final year in Baton Rouge, the Tigers also won 10 games and were victorious in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

Nabers then entered the NFL Draft and, the rest is history. He's now a member of the New York Giants and fans are happy to have him here and were devastated when he went down with an injury earlier in the season.

LSU was 5-3 when the program decided to axe Kelly and dropped out of the Top 25. That is unacceptable when it comes to LSU football, a proud program known for being more competitive than what they've shown recently under Kelly. The latest blowout loss to Texas A&M at home was the final straw there.

While Nabers did delete the story, clearly, he was not a fan of Kelly and wasn't afraid of "voicing" that. His alma mater fired the clearly unpopular head coach and now LSU will be looking to start over and find a head coach capable of taking them places that Kelly couldn't.
