For over a decade, Jameis Winston has been a consistent source of football chaos. His gunslinging play style is good for a few mistakes each game, but it makes for explosive passes just as often. Dubbed "The Jameis Winston Experience," the veteran's up-and-down play has driven plenty of teams to wins through the years.

His first two games with the New York Giants this year weren't an "experience" that any fans were interested in enduring. Since he took over for the injured Jaxson Dart in New York's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, the G-Men had not scored a touchdown.

As valuable as Winston's experience is, J.J. McCarthy was starting to look like the better option.

But in Big Blue's Week 4 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Giants fans were gifted a vintage Winston performance. Yes, it's panic-inducing, but it's the best option Big Blue has. This should be Winston's offense for the coming weeks.

Jameis giveth, and Jameis taketh away.

The veteran quarterback threw two inexcusable interceptions against the Cardinals, but he also threw three touchdown passes. He completed 18 of his 29 passes on the day, doing just enough to lead his Giants to the win.

As head-scratching as the turnovers were, Winston's ability to extend plays and hit tight-window throws was crucial in pulling off the victory.

Always good for a quote, Winston was fired up after the game. When asked whether he was motivated by McCarthy's arrival, he shifted the focus to his on-field performance.

Winston told reporters, "I'm heating up and I'm starting to get better and better. Last week, I was questioning if I could even throw. This week, I got people talking about the Jameis Winston Experience again. I'm still so curious and so inspired to be the best me every single day. That alone pushes me. Not another man. Not another teammate. Just my desire to be what I would love."

Even if the McCarthy trade had Winston looking over his shoulder when it happened, it shouldn't anymore. The veteran's performance against the Cardinals proved that he is the Giants' best option for winning games in the coming weeks.

His turnover-prone style might make John Harbaugh's skin crawl, but if he can keep playing like he did in Week 4, he can at least move the ball down the field.

McCarthy should remain on the sidelines, especially while he learns offensive coordinator Matt Nagy's scheme.
