The New York Giants are heading into what could be another very rough season for their fanbase in 2025, which may prompt many nostalgic fans to close their eyes and imagine how good they had it when superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was at the peak of his powers.

Beckham himself seems very prone to reminiscing about what life was like back then, as his post-Giants NFL career did not go according to plan at all. Beckham has been cranking up the Bruce Springsteen and letting Glory Days echo throughout the practice field, as he is trying to recall his days on top of the football world.

Beckham posted a picture of himself training in a Giants helmet, as he tries to recall the halcyon days of his professional career. While New York seemingly does not have much of an interest in bringing Beckham back for another run, No. 13 showed he will always remain a Giant at heart.

Beckham is going to turn 33 years old in November, has dealt with major career-altering injuries over the last handful of seasons, and last toped 600 yards receiving during the 2019 season. At the risk of a using a pejorative term the kids seem to be leaning on these days, Beckham appeared to be washed.

That doesn't take away from the fact that Beckham's prime with the Giants was one of the greatest stretches of high-end wide receiver play in recent NFL history. Beckham's best plays are still beign emulated by adoring fans.

Beckham, who always had a propensity for pulling off highlight-reel catches, amassed per-game numbers between 2014 and 2018 that would have put him on pace for 112 catches, just under 1,600 yards, and 14 touchdowns in a 17-game season. Beckham is second in Giants history in receiving yards behind Amani Toomer, and he is fourth in receiving touchdowns behind Toomer, Joe Morrison, and Kyle Rote.

After a brief stint of quality in Cleveland, a Super Bowl run as a tertiary target with the Rams, and his injury-filled time in Miami with the Dolphins, Beckham has likely realized that the end of his professional career is upon him.

No matter what else happens to him in the NFL, Beckham can take solace in the fact that the performances he put on display when he was in New York will never fade away,
