While the 2025 NFL Draft class may not be as deep at the quarterback position as this year, there will always be hidden gems and diamonds in the rough. The NY Giants may be one of those teams interested in pursuing a QB in next year's NFL Draft.

This is a make-or-break season for quarterback Daniel Jones, who has $92 million in guarantees in a deal the team can opt out of after this season. With the veteran's injury history and struggles performance wise, Big Blue may be looking to do just that following this season.

The G-Men didn't trade up for a QB in 2024, taking Malik Nabers No. 6 overall instead. With the college football season underway, Joe Schoen needs to keep his eyes on these five signal-callers. Will one of these guys end up being a future Giant?

5. Drew Allar - Penn State

The Giants have a long history with Penn State University, and the connection continues to grow. The team drafted Nittany Lions running back Saquon Barkley in 2018 and took Penn State tight end Theo Johnson in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Giants also signed veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson II in free agency, who played at Penn State from 2011 to 2013. So, how about a new QB from Happy Valley?

An excellent option for the Giants at quarterback in 2025 is Penn State's Drew Allar, who is entering his junior year this campaign. Last season, Allar threw for 2,631 yards, 25 touchdowns, and had a 73.7 quarterback rating. Allar has experience playing with Johnson at Penn State last season, which should make that connection even more robust if he were to join the G-Men.

Allar could be a late first-rounder or even hear his name called on Day 2, but his draft stock could change depending on his performance in 2024. Still, if the Giants did decide to go in a different direction with their first-round pick, they could take Allar in the second round if he ends up falling to Day 3.
