2. Shedeur Sanders - Colorado

You've been living under a rock if you don't know this guy's name by now. Despite the high praise from his father, Deion, Shedeur Sanders is that good. He could become next year's No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. The Colorado quarterback can do it all, and it's no mistake that he is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the draft and one of the best overall prospects.

Last year, in his first season as quarterback at Colorado, Sanders threw for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He had a 69.3 completion percentage and a 63.1 quarterback rating in his first year at a Power 5 conference. The Buffaloes will rejoin the Big 12 Conference in 2024, where they were members from 1996 to 2010 before joining the Pac-12 Conference in 2011.

Despite losing several offensive players, including wide receiver Xavier Weaver, who joined the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent, Colorado is retaining star wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter. Hunter and Sanders have great chemistry from their playing days together at Jackson State, so we expect this duo to continue to perform well in 2024. Colorado also retained wideout Jimmy Hor, but a player to watch out for this year will be Vanderbilt transfer receiver Will Sheppard.

While several teams should be interested in Sanders, the New York Giants should scout the Colorado quarterback. We'd be shocked if we didn't see Schoen on the sidelines at a few of the Buffaloes' games and practices this season. The Colorado QB has the tools to be a stud at the next level.
