1. Tennessee QB Joe Milton III

With Brian Daboll as the Giants leader, it makes sense for New York to look at underperforming yet talented quarterbacks each year in the NFL Draft. The biggest culprit entering this season’s iteration is none other than former Michigan and Tennessee signal-caller Joe Milton III.

He possesses a bazooka for an arm, but Milton hasn’t been able to harness that power throughout his time in college. Whether it was Jim Harbaugh or Josh Heupel, many coaches saw Milton's talent, and at times he looked phenomenal, but it was always evident more was possible.

We’ve seen what Daboll has been able to do with quarterbacks in the past. He molded the raw Josh Allen, got the best out of Daniel Jones, and turned Tommy DeVito into a serviceable backup. Milton at the least possesses more arm talent than Jones and DeVito. Perhaps Daboll could work his magic again.

It’s the most important position in all of sports, and it would cost the Giants pennies on the dollar to take a look at Milton. His tape isn’t perfect, and there’s some accuracy questions, but there’s perhaps a diamond in the rough hiding on Day 3 in the former Tennessee quarterback for the Giants.
