Winner - Kayvon Thibodeaux

Kayvon Thibodeaux was potentially the biggest winner in the free agent frenzy for the G-Men. He didn't get a new massive contract, but what he did get is a running mate off the edge. He had to be one of the happiest players on the team when the Giants traded for Burns, who has been a stud pass-rusher for the Panthers in recent years.

At 23 and 25 years old, they have potential to be one of the best sack tandems we've seen for NY since Michael Strahan and Osi. Umenyiora. Thibodeaux put up 11.5 sacks last year and was often getting doubled teamed. Burns is far and away an upgrade over rushers like Oshane Ximines, fan favorite Jihad Ward and Boogie Basham. The Giants shouldn't be done with roster turnover to the edge position either.

The Giants just got a lot more dangerous on defense. If you think about it, Azeez Ojulari is a bit of a winner in this too: he has had some durability concerns with a laundry list of injuries. Having Ojulari come off the bench to be just a situational edge-rusher could help him out in the long haul.
