3. DL Casey Rogers
The Giants must love their Oregon defensive linemen, as in addition to drafting Jordon Riley last season, they now have Casey Rogers on the roster as a UDFA. While Rogers may not have the untapped potential of Riley, he could still be a solid depth piece for a relatively weak Giants defensive line.
Rogers is a monstrous 6-5, 305-pound defensive tackle with an absurdly high motor who flashed some tantalizing athletic traits during his pro day. While his numbers during his final season at Oregon weren't mind-boggling by any means, he could still become a solid player based on size and athleticism alone.
Through 289 snaps last season, Rogers racked up 11 combined tackles, 16 pressures, and one sack. He lacks the burst to be an elite player, but his motor, size, and ability to play off blocks could allow Rogers to flash some potential during the preseason.
The Syracuse native has a long way to go if he wants to make the roster, but if he shows the same type of fight he did while at Oregon, there's a very real chance he will make the team and prove a lot of people wrong.
