2. OL Tyre Phillips

Tyre Phillips’ tenure with the Giants in 2023 was an interesting one. He started out the preseason and training camp with the Giants, but didn’t make the initial roster. Phillips then signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on their practice squad.

When the Giants offensive line was hit with injuries and were plagued with terrible play, the Giants brought Phillips back from their rivals and he ended up starting nine of the 10 games he played in. Phillips' season ended late in the year due to suffering a torn quad and needing surgery, which landed him on IR.

Before the injury, Phillips was steady at right tackle and many fans thought he’d be back on the Giants roster for at least depth purposes regardless of what happened to Evan Neal at right tackle. But with Neal set to start at RT and NY signing Jermaine Eluemunor, it's not a shock NY didn't bring Phillips back. Phillips could still land somewhere else in 2024 if a team deems that he is fully healthy from his injury.
