2. Chris Wormley

The Giants have added talent to the defensive interior group in both the draft and free agency these past couple of seasons. They added run-stuffer Rakeem Nunez-Roches last season, they added Jordan Phillips this offseason, and they added D.J Davidson and Jordon Riley in the draft. While all of these players will see time next to Dexter Lawrence, the Giants are missing a pass-rusher on the inside. Schoen could take a flier on 30-year-old defensive tackle Chris Wormley.

Wormley is only a couple of seasons removed from a seven-sack, 50-tackle season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He barely saw playing time last season on the Panthers, so a new team might help revitalize his career a bit.

The interior group is a crowded room with multiple veterans vying for playing time, along with some younger pieces like newly-signed undrafted free agent Casey Rogers out of Oregon turning heads already. Wormley is going to be in for a dogfight if he is signed, but he may have a different skill set that separates him from the rest of the group.
