2. OL Justin Pugh

Where would the Giants offensive line have been without Justin Pugh in 2023? While the unit still was rough, Pugh’s experience and versatility came in handy for New York during dire times last season, and many thought it’d be a no brainer to bring back the franchise’s former first-rounder for another season.

Instead, Pugh has been waiting on his next opportunity, but he hasn’t stayed quiet. He’s been outspoken about the direction of the franchise he loves on social media, while also sharing videos of his training for the 2024 season, proving he’s ready when called upon. He already knows the offense and the quarterback, so it’d be a seamless fit if Pugh was to return to New York.

Of course, if Pugh is a starting offensive lineman for the Giants in 2024, something went wrong in Schoen’s rebuild of the team. Regardless, he offers up solid depth, and he’s a tremendous locker room presence for the team. The NFL is a long season, full of attrition - Pugh should be a call that the Giants make if something goes wrong over the next few weeks.
