3. QB Ryan Tannehill

The Giants declined to select a quarterback during April’s 2024 NFL Draft, but the door remains far from closed regarding who will be under center for the entirety of the upcoming season. Of course,Daniel Jones will get the first crack. Drew Lock is waiting in the wings. Tommy DeVito is even still on the roster. Regardless of all that, the team should not hesitate to give Ryan Tannehill a call if things go south at some point.

The former first-round quarterback lost his job in Tennessee, as the Titans underwent a transformation. Somewhat surprisingly, he remains a free agent, as he awaits his next offer. It’s not like Tannehill is some slouch, though, as he can still win games in the right situation at the NFL level.

We saw it with Joe Flacco last season. Tannehill may be 35, but he’s still mobile, tough and can make almost all the throws. If Jones doesn’t progress, and the Giants are in a bind, they could look to add the former Texas A&M signal-caller to their roster.
