We all love to see our favorite players stick around for a long time. Whether it brings one, multiple or even zero championships, we all have a soft spot for the guys that spend a lifetime with one team. For the New York Giants, guys like Lawrence Taylor and Eli Manning will have their stories told throughout Big Blue Nation for generations.

On the other side, there are the guys that are like comets. They're seen once and never heard from again. As many legends as the Giants have, they have just as many one-hit wonders, including these four that we're big fans of:

4. QB Tommy DeVito

It may be a little bit of recency bias to have Tommy DeVito on this list, especially because he's still on the team. However, the odds are stacked against him to play another meaningful snap for the Giants. With Daniel Jones the sure-fire starter and Drew Lock as the backup, it's going to be hard for DeVito to see the field again.

On the bright side, we got to see what happens when he steps on the gridiron. If not for injuries to Jones and Tyrod Taylor, DeVito wouldn't have seen the field in 2023. But, as luck would have it, DeVito took his chance and ran with it. In three weeks, DeVito cemented himself in Giants lore with a three-game winning streak that was a bright spot in an otherwise disastrous season.

In those three wins, DeVito threw for 595 yards, five touchdowns, had a completion percentage of 72.7 percent and threw zero interceptions. DeVito came back to earth after the Monday night victory against Green Bay, but we'll always have those three magical weeks in the winter of 2023. He won over the fanbase because of his Italian roots too.
