1. EDGE Brian Burns

With the trade of Brian Burns came a brand new contract for the 26-year-old Pro Bowler. This has him making $141 million over the next five seasons. While his base salary for this season isn't insane, this is because most of it was worked into a signing bonus in order to make the extension work with the Giants' cap space.

This means that Burns is set to make $43.5 million in cash in the 2024 season. This is a lot of money, but given his past level of play and the talent he'll be surrounded by with the Giants, there's a real chance he outplays his contract value.

Last season, while playing in a system with the Panthers that did not utilize his strengths, Burns racked up 50 combined tackles, eight sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 16 tackles for loss, and 40 pressures. These numbers are still incredibly impressive, so it's fun to imagine what he could do in a better system like that of the Giants.

Playing alongside Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux could do miracles for the Giants' pass-rush, which ranked 29th in sacks and 20th in pressures. The trio these guys could form may very well become the best in the NFL under Shane Bowen.
