1. The Daniel Jones injury bug bites again
It is no secret that 2024 is a crucial year for the Giants signal-caller. After getting a $160 million contract last offseason, Jones was a disappointment in 2023, as he had two touchdowns to six interceptions in just six games he played as a neck injury and a torn ACL ended his season. The Giants can't afford another injury-plagued year from Jones.
Jones has only played one full year for the Giants back in 2022 and of course, there is concern that the injury bug may bite him again this season. From lingering neck, knee and ankle injuries, the Giants are relying on Jones to be healthy for a full season after the offense was again ranked towards the bottom in the NFL in rankings.
After a nightmare season for the Giants in 2023, it could be yet another disastrous season if Jones is unable to stay healthy this year. It's a make-or-break season for Jones it seems like and Brian Daboll and company are dependent on the former No. 6 overall pick to stay healthy. With the Giants offense set to look a little different with Saquon Barkley now gone, it would without question be a nightmare if Jones gets injured again. It would also mark the end of his time with the team too.
